Does Buildertrend have a mobile app?

Yes! Once signed up for Buildertrend, you can download our app from the App Store or Google Play. You will use your same username and password to log into the app as you do on the desktop site. The features and functionality in the app are the exact same as in the desktop version, so you can browse your jobs while you’re on the go. Check them out side-by-side during a full demo.

Can homeowners use Buildertrend?

You bet they can! With your Buildertrend account, you can invite homeowners to collaborate on their projects with you through a singular portal. Each homeowner will create their own username and password, so that their information stays secure. What will the homeowner see when they log into Buildertrend?

Can subcontractors access Buildertrend?

Yes, you can invite your subcontractors to access Buildertrend for free. They only see the jobs, documents and tasks that you choose to share with them. This is a great way to enhance communication with your trades.

How long does the recruiting process take?

Our talent and recruiting team reviews each application ensuring experience and specifications align with the role. After all, we want to be sure you are set up for success!

Some positions take longer to fill than others, but the entire process could take two weeks to two or more months. Not to worry! Our talent and recruiting team will communicate with you throughout the interview process, giving you updates on candidacy, timeline and expectations. If you ever have a question or would like an update, just holler!

What do I wear if I get invited to come for an onsite interview?

We are casual here! In fact, it’s likely that our interviewing team will be in jeans. We want you to be comfortable, so we will leave the dress code open and up to you.

If I get hired on, what should I expect the onboarding process to look like?

One of our talent and recruiting team members will work with you to make sure you have everything you need in advance of Day One. We will send you onboarding documents to complete along with a snapshot of day one via email ahead of your first day.

You will be part of one of our hiring classes, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with other new fellow BT-ers. Day One is designed to be informative, stress-free and fun!
