Buildertrend appoints Jon Walker as its new Chief Technology Officer
OMAHA, Neb. (Aug. 3, 2023) – Buildertrend, the leading residential construction management platform, recently appointed Jon Walker as Chief Technology Officer.
Walker brings to Buildertrend more than 30 years of proven experience in technology leadership roles. As co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer at AppFolio, he successfully steered the company through its initial public offering (IPO) in 2015 and gained traction as a SaaS frontrunner in the property management vertical.
Walker will oversee Buildertrend’s Product Engineering division and direct strategies to optimize the platform and provide the best customer experience to construction professionals who rely on Buildertrend to run their business more successfully.

Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Westmont College and has been a guest lecturer at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an adjunct professor at Westmont College.
