The Summit by CBUSA Registrant Terms and Conditions 2026

The following The Summit by CBUSA Registrant Terms and Conditions 2026  for event registration and attendance (the “Summit Terms”) are binding without qualification or exception, on all persons that register or for whom are registered (collectively, the “Registrant”) to attend The Summit By CBUSA in Colorado Springs, CO from October 11, 2026 to October 14, 2026 (“Summit” or “The Summit”) presented by CB/USA, LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliates, specifically Buildertrend Solutions, Inc., employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, “CBUSA”). By registering for The Summit as set out below, each Registrant hereby agrees (1) to be bound by and shall be deemed to have accepted these Summit Terms, which the Registrant acknowledges to have read and understood and (2) that he/she has obtained the consent of his/her employer, to the extent his/her employer may so require, prior to registering for The Summit and becoming bound by these Summit Terms. If the Registrant is not authorized or does not agree to any of these Summit Terms, the Registrant may not enter, view, register for, or otherwise attend The Summit.

1. Payment Information & Terms

Full payment of The Summit registration fee is due upon submission of the registration form. Registrants must pay the registration fee to gain access or entry to The Summit.

2. Registrant Substitution & Cancellation

2.1 Substitution: Registrant may substitute a different attendee without charge up until 10/09/2026.  To substitute attendees, Registrant must send a notification of the substitution to thesummit@cbusa.us.

2.2 Cancellation: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to thesummit@cbusa.us with “Cancellation” in the subject line. Registrants may cancel and receive a full refund minus a $700.00 cancellation fee through 10/09/2026.  Cancellations on or after 10/10/2026 are nonrefundable. Registrants who do not attend The Summit and/or do not contact CBUSA via written correspondence by the dates above will be responsible for the full registration fee.

3. Cancellation or Postponement by CBUSA

If CBUSA cancels or postpones The Summit, Registrant can transfer their registration to another CBUSA event within the next twelve (12) months, without penalty, or receive a full refund upon written request. CBUSA will not be responsible for non-refundable travel tickets purchased or hotel reservations made by Registrant.

4. Third Party Suppliers

CBUSA acts solely as a conference host and works with supplier hotels, airlines, ground transportation, and other independent contractors providing services such as accommodations, transportation, and/or other services (“Supplier(s)”). Without limitation to Section 8, each Supplier is an independent entity and is not subject to the control of CBUSA. CBUSA shall not be liable for any actions, errors, or omissions of Suppliers. Registrants acknowledge and agree that any arrangements made with Suppliers are made solely between Registrants and Suppliers and CBUSA shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by Suppliers.  

5. Admittance and Attendance Guidelines

The following obligations apply to all Registrants:

  • Each Registrant must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older;
  • A valid photo ID (either a government issued identification or driver’s license card or a passport) will be required upon arrival at The Summit;
  • CBUSA reserves the right to deny admittance to The Summit to anyone who has registered under false or erroneous pretenses (e.g., using another attendee’s name, individuals who are underaged, etc.) and to retain any Summit registration fees previously submitted for such registrations;
  • CBUSA reserves the right to refuse or revoke The Summit registration and admission to any individual, at its sole discretion;
  • Possession or use of illegal or controlled substances, or possession or use of firearms or other deadly weapons is strictly prohibited; and
  • Anyone who is removed from The Summit for any reason may be arrested and subjected to both criminal charges and a civil lawsuit.

6. Code of Conduct

CBUSA is dedicated to providing a harassment free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of our community in any form. Sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate for any venue, including personal space, presentations, workshops, parties, social media, and other online media. Community participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from our events or venues at the discretion of the staff and without a refund. Please bring any concerns to the immediate attention of our team.

7. Content and Materials

7.1 Proprietary Content. CBUSA reserves the right to (a) limit, restrict or prohibit audio or video recordings and/or transmissions of The Summit or any portion thereof, or the taking of photographs during The Summit, and (b) remove anyone conducting unauthorized recordings or photography. Any person who conducts unauthorized recordings or photography after being notified by CBUSA that such recordings or photography are so limited, restricted, or prohibited hereby (v) transfers ownership of any and all unauthorized recordings of The Summit (i.e., tape, CD, or such other medium) to CBUSA  or its assigns, (x) agrees, upon request, to give possession of all copies of any such unauthorized recordings to CBUSA before leaving The Summit premises, (y) authorizes use of any such unauthorized recordings of The Summit (tape, CD, or such other medium) by CBUSA and/or its assigns for any purpose, and (z) represents that any attendees and other individuals that appear in such photos and videos have also consented to such use.

7.2 Views. The views expressed by any conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are not necessarily those of CBUSA. All conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online web content. 

8. Likeness

From time to time, CBUSA and its sponsors, Suppliers, and other contracted third parties may time to time take photos or videos at The Summit. By participating or attending The Summit, each Registrant permits, authorizes, and consents CBUSA to use the Registrant’s name, comments, and likeness in photographs, videos, motion pictures, advertising, promotion, performance, or sound recordings for any purpose or purposes, including, but not limited to, publicizing or marketing CBUSA and/or The Summit or for any other commercial or lawful purpose, without any compensation due to the Registrant. Registrant further waives any claim in connection with the above use or uses including, but not limited to, claims relating to defamation, rights of privacy or publicity, confidentiality, copyright, or otherwise. Registrant understands and agrees that these materials will become the property of CBUSA and will not be returned. Registrant hereby irrevocably authorize CBUSA to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or broadcast Registrant’s likeness at any time by means of any media, including print, video presentations, news bulletins, signs, brochures, website placements, podcasts, or other digital delivery or publications. Registrant will hold harmless, release, and forever discharge CBSUA from all claims, demands, and causes of action which Registrant, their heirs, representatives, executors, or any other persons acting on the Registrant’s behalf or on behalf of my estate have by reason of this authorization.

9. Warranty

Except as expressly represented otherwise, and to the extent not prohibited by law, all workshops, presentations, and information provided at The Summit, including any advice, guidance, suggestions, recommendations, documentation, publications, software programs or code, and other information provided by or on behalf of CBUSA or its Suppliers to Registrant is furnished on an “AS-IS” basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise especially as to quality, reliability, timeliness, usefulness, sufficiency, accuracy, or results. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF CONDITION, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED BY CBUSA AND ITS SUPPLIERS. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CBUSA SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY UNLESS INCORPORATED INTO THESE TERMS.

10. Limitations of Liability

In  consideration  for  being  permitted  to  attend  and  participate  in  The Summit, Registrant,  for himself/herself and his/her personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, hereby accepts any and all risks associated with and/or in any way related to The Summit, known and unknown, and agrees to be solely responsible for Registrant’s own safety and to take every precaution to provide for Registrant’s own safety and well-being while attending and/or participating in The Summit.

In further consideration of being permitted to attend and participate:

  • REGISTRANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE CBUSA or its respective members, managers, shareholders, directors, officers,  employees,  and  agents  (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or relating to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Registrant, or to any property belonging to Registrant, whether caused by the negligence of Released Parties.
  • REGISTRANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur as a result of Registrant’s attendance at The Summit, and that in the event that any claim is made against any of the Released Parties, Registrant will defend and fully indemnify the Released Parties for any such claim and all expenses related thereto, including attorney’s fees and costs.
  • REGISTRANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL AND COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE due to the negligence of any Released Parties or otherwise while Registrant is in and/or attending The Summit.

11. Privacy Notice

CBUSA’s Privacy Notice is hereby incorporated as part of these Summit Terms.

12. Choice of Law and Venue

The laws of the State of Nebraska, in the United States, will govern these Summit Terms, as well as any claim, cause of action or dispute that might arise between Registrant and CBUSA (a “Claim”), without regard to conflict of law provisions. FOR ANY CLAIM BROUGHT BY EITHER PARTY, YOU AGREE TO SUBMIT AND CONSENT TO THE PERSONAL AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION IN, AND THE EXCLUSIVE VENUE OF, THE STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS LOCATED WITHIN DOUGLAS COUNTY, NEBRASKA.

13. Modifications or Additions

All matters pertaining to The Summit and Registrant’s registration or attendance that are not specifically addressed in the Summit Terms shall be subject to determination by CBUSA in its sole discretion. CBUSA shall have full power in the interpretation and enforcement of all matters contained herein, and the power to make, from time to time, such reasonable amendments thereto and such further rules and regulations as it shall consider necessary or desirable. Any such additional rules and regulations are an integral part of the Summit Terms and hereby are incorporated into the Summit Terms by reference. Registrant shall adhere to additional rules and regulations once they are communicated to Registrant. The Summit Terms, including any additional rules and regulations made by CBUSA, states the entire agreement of the parties with respect to its subject matter.
