Buildertrend deepens community impact in 2024
Omaha, Neb. – (Feb. 10, 2025) – In 2024, Buildertrend, the leading residential construction management platform, increased its charitable giving through increased employee volunteerism, expanded corporate philanthropic efforts and programs that maximize donations made by employees.
Through the company’s paid Volunteer Time Off program, employees dedicated more than 4,600 hours to nonprofit organizations. One initiative brought 196 employees together to contribute 1,372 hours toward building a Habitat for Humanity home for a family of seven. This is the company’s third whole home build since 2022, with plans to continue the partnership in 2025 with another home build.
Philanthropic support also grew through the BT Cares initiative, with contributions to nearly 100 organizations – a 38% increase from 2023. Buildertrend matched employee donations to local and national nonprofits through its Community Impact Fund, amplifying the reach of employee giving.
In response to the natural disasters such as the Los Angeles wildfires and Hurricanes Milton and Helene, Buildertrend provided support to the American Red Cross and shared resources to assist builders involved in recovery and rebuilding efforts.
“The impact of 2024 shows what’s possible when our team commits to serving others,” said Dan Houghton, CEO and co-founder. “We’re proud to continue investing in causes that strengthen communities where our employees and customers live and work.”
In 2025, Buildertrend will continue its partnership with Habitat for Humanity and expand community impact initiatives across housing and basic needs, cultural awareness, youth support, STEM education and local projects.
