Buildertrend reinforces executive leadership to support growth as company marks two decades in business
OMAHA, Neb. (March 5, 2026) — Buildertrend, the leading residential construction management platform, today announced two executive leadership appointments. Charlotte Bradley has been named Chief Product Officer (CPO), and Jason Cleary has been promoted to Chief Business Officer (CBO). These leadership changes reflect Buildertrend’s evolution from a category pioneer to a mature, product-led company focused on delivering long‑term value for residential builders.
As Chief Product Officer, Bradley will lead Buildertrend’s product strategy and execution, further strengthening the company’s ability to deliver differentiated products grounded in real customer needs amid rising industry complexity. Since joining Buildertrend in May 2025, she has accelerated product development through sharper focus, greater rigor, and a customer-outcomes driven approach to innovation.
“As we celebrate 20 years, our focus is firmly on what’s next, for builders and for the company,” said Dan Houghton, CEO and co‑founder of Buildertrend. “Charlotte understands our customers at a deep level, and she brings the product leadership required to turn builder expectations into real, meaningful progress.”
Bradley brings experience scaling customer-centric AI and software platforms from prior product leadership roles at Ontra and AppFolio. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, informing her analytical, systems driven approach to product leadership.
As Chief Business Officer, Cleary will oversee Buildertrend’s commercial strategy across its core platform and financial services offerings, along with revenue operations and cross-functional execution. His role is designed to ensure Buildertrend’s operating model and go-to-market strategy remain closely aligned as the company continues to scale.
Since joining Buildertrend in 2021, Cleary has played a key role in shaping the company’s strategy, including leading customer segmentation efforts, refining its subscription model and implementing changes that have significantly improved customer retention and long‑term value for home builders.
“Growing responsibly means staying disciplined and never losing sight of what drives customer success,” Houghton said. “Jason has been a steady force through a period of significant transformation, and his leadership is critical as we define Buildertrend’s next chapter.”
Before joining Buildertrend, Cleary worked in investment banking at Spurrier Capital Partners and Q Advisors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington and Lee University and serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands.
Together, Bradley and Cleary join Buildertrend’s executive team as the company builds on 20 years of customer partnership and industry progress, with a focus on shaping what’s next for residential construction.
