Buildertrend unveils rebrand reflecting company’s focus on the future of construction
OMAHA, Neb. (Jan. 10, 2023) — Today, Buildertrend announced its new brand positioning and campaign, kicking off with a tagline and promise to help builders “Work Simpler.” The effort includes a new logo, visual identity, positioning and updated website.
The rebrand highlights the company’s deep commitment to home builders, remodelers and specialty contractors. Evolving beyond a job management platform, Buildertrend now aims to be a complete solution for residential contractors looking to run a better business. The tagline, “Work Simpler,” captures the brand’s new traits: direct, approachable and expert – empowering residential construction professionals to work smarter, not harder with innovation at builders’ fingertips.
“The rebrand has been an exciting transformational process for us,” said Brooke Brockman, Buildertrend’s vice president of Marketing. “Today, we begin a new chapter in Buildertrend’s story, and this reimagined brand is the first step of what’s to come in that journey. We believe the future of construction is our customers – and how we can empower them to strengthen their businesses.”
Buildertrend’s renewed brand comes at an important time industrywide. The need for greater workplace productivity, profits and connectivity across teams has increased significantly over the past few years as construction has been challenged by unprecedented workplace changes and economic uncertainty.
“We are problem solvers, and we push ourselves to be better on behalf of the builders who instill their trust in us,” said Dan Houghton, Buildertrend’s CEO and cofounder. “We challenge ourselves to look for new answers and keep innovating. As our customers’ needs have evolved, our business and products have evolved right along with them. We look forward to partnering with builders and continuing to deliver solutions that change the way the world builds.”
Founded in 2006 by Houghton and brothers Steve and Jeff Dugger, Buildertrend has become the gold-standard for residential construction software. To date, within Buildertrend, more than 2 million projects have been completed by 1 million users across 80 countries.
Buildertrend has an established legacy for adding order and efficiency to an industry slow to adopt new technologies – a legacy that’s sure to strengthen as the company further leads contractors into the future. Houghton and Andrew Wirick, senior vice president of Product, will soon unveil more on what this means for customers, including details on new tools and services.
During the International Builders’ Show on Tuesday, Jan. 31 in Las Vegas, both company leaders will present upcoming plans LIVE! on the Buildertrend Stage. “Buildertrend evolution: The future of construction starts now” will take place at 1 p.m. in the West Hall’s nextBUILD space at booth W1844.
“From Buildertrend’s launch to right now, we’ve been continuously driving change, and today is another great milestone,” said Houghton. “Our refreshed identity supports our growth and strategic vision while marking an inspiring new era for residential contractors.”
