Buildertrend hires Bob Drake as Chief Financial Officer
OMAHA, Neb. (October 12, 2023) Buildertrend, the leading residential construction management platform, recently appointed Bob Drake as Chief Financial Officer.
Drake brings to Buildertrend more than 20 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including 15 years working in a variety of senior finance roles at Microsoft.
Most recently, he served in a Senior Vice President role at Cloudera, directing the company’s finance, financial planning and analysis, go-to-market finance functions and private equity relationship management.
Prior to Cloudera, Drake served in a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis role at Instructure, where he scaled his team through significant growth and transformation, oversaw financial due diligence on key acquisitions and drove financial initiatives resulting in a successful IPO in 2021.
Drake holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Brigham Young University and earned his Certified Public Accountant designation. He also holds an Executive certificate in Leadership and Strategic Impact from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
