Buildertrend, Habitat for Humanity of Omaha pair up again for successful Brew Haha event

Buildertrend helping at Brew Haha 2022

Omaha, Neb. (Sept. 14, 2022) — Buildertrend, for the third straight year, served as the main corporate sponsor of Habitat for Humanity of Omaha’s 16th annual Brew Haha fundraiser.

Nearly 1,400 Brew Haha attendees enjoyed food and drinks from the community’s best breweries and restaurants at Sterling Ridge Retail on Sept. 8. Samples of craft beverages and local foods, coupled with an upbeat atmosphere, make this event one of Habitat Omaha’s largest annual fundraisers.

“Partners like Buildertrend lay the foundation for Habitat Omaha’s work in the community,” said John Haske, Habitat Omaha’s Chief Development Officer. “Buildertrend’s continuous support, both financially and with their volunteers, helped make Brew Haha a successful event.”

Buildertrend CEO and co-founder Dan Houghton called the event another sign of the strong partnership between Habitat Omaha and Buildertrend in their joint effort to make safe housing more accessible.

“At its core, Brew Haha exemplifies one of the values we’re really passionate about: showing up for our community. Our partnership with Habitat Omaha builds on our shared belief that our community always comes first,” said Houghton, who has served on the Habitat for Humanity of Omaha Board of Directors since 2017.

Buildertrend and Habitat Omaha have partnered together in an effort to build quality, affordable housing for families in our community since 2014, when the nonprofit began using Buildertrend’s industry-leading residential construction project management software.

Buildertrend has supported Habitat Omaha annually through financial contributions and in-kind software subscriptions, and by organizing employees to volunteer at Habitat Omaha job sites.

In 2022 Buildertrend sponsored a whole-home build and gave employees an opportunity to participate in Habitat’s mission by volunteering on its construction. Habitat Omaha and Buildertrend leaders turned over the keys to that home to an Omaha family of five on Aug. 19.
