Ensuring you have setup your profile settings will be important for usability and functionality to align with the creation of estimates using each set of plans.

First, you will want to open Buildertrend Takeoff and navigate to your profile in the top right corner.

We recommend filling out every field and based on customer feedback, setting up your Bid Management Landing Screen to default to List View will provide a better user experience.

It is also recommended to update your Bid Management List View Duration to Custom to ensure all bids are present and accounted for.

Next, update your Bid Management List View Date Range to ensure any current and future bids will populate on your list, making sure you aren’t missing anything by accident.

Lastly, enable Full Screen Mouse Cursor. This will help you see your cursor when managing your takeoffs.

Once your settings have been updated for each field, you can click Save Changes. You will need to logout and log back in, for the new settings to take effect.

At this point, you have successfully updated your Buildertrend Takeoff profile settings.
