Once your assemblies have been created, you will have the option to edit, delete, and duplicate those existing assemblies.

First, click into the Estimating tab to the left and click Templates.

Next, you will have the option to Edit, Delete and Duplicate your assemblies as well as the parts that make up each assembly.

Click the Edit button next to the assembly you wish to revise. Then, click Update to lock in any changes made to the assembly.

You will have the option to duplicate assemblies within a template.

Click the Duplicate button next to each Assembly.

Give the assembly a new name and then click Update.

From here, you will have the option to edit and delete parts for your newly duplicated assembly.

If you choose to delete an assembly, you will need to delete the parts first.

You have now successfully edited your existing assemblies in Buildertrend Takeoff.
