What is Buildertrend’s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plan for its customers? If your server farm/major data lines go down, how will you service us?
Buildertrend operates out of two geographically disparate data centers. Buildertrend leverages technologies such as backups and real-time replication to ensure that we have the ability to operate out of each data center upon the declaration of a disaster.
Do Buildertrend have redundancies in server farms, or have business relationships with other DRP companies?
We have redundancies built throughout our application components to ensure we stay operational if we experience an outage of critical components. Although we do not provide a detailed list of our infrastructure we do have redundant servers in case one should fail.
Is Buildertrend a SQL-based database?
Yes.
What about our images, document attachments and site pictures? Are they also being saved and part of your Disaster Recovery plan for customers?
All file data is backed up and made available to our disaster recovery data center to be a part of our recovery strategy.
