Welcome to the Buildertrend brand and trademark Guidelines: your go-to for using our logo, assets and brand elements without giving our brand a makeover. These simple but essential rules will help you use our branding smoothly in your content, ensuring we all stay on the same page – and look good doing it. After all, a consistent brand is a powerful one because it builds trust and credibility – and together, we’ll keep things professional and polished.
And remember, if we feel your use of our brand doesn’t follow these Guidelines or align with Buildertrend’s best interests, we reserve the right to revoke your permission to use the Buildertrend marks at any time – but we’re always happy to collaborate to get it right!
Guidelines
We allow the media, our business partners, customers and content partners to use the Buildertrend marks only in limited circumstances as described in these Guidelines. By using the Buildertrend marks, you agree to follow these Guidelines. If you have a separate agreement with Buildertrend that governs the use of the Buildertrend marks, please follow that agreement governs your use of the Buildertrend marks. Logo usage
- The primary Buildertrend logo is a combination of our icon and company name – and can be used in a horizontal or vertical layout.
- The minimum space around the logo should be equivalent to the height of the ‘B’ in Buildertrend. If possible, more space should be allowed.
- Avoid using the Buildertrend logo smaller than 0.25”.
- The primary versions of our logo include Navy (#001a43) and Teal (#00d8d8), which can be used on white backgrounds, or White (#FFFFFF) and Teal, which can be used on a Navy background.

- Refer to the trademarked name(s) exactly as listed in the guidelines (e.g., “Buildertrend” instead of “BuilderTrend”)

Suppliers partnered with Buildertrend Purchasing are encouraged to use our logo and icon in their promotional materials or presentations, but it’s important to do so with care. Stick to the approved Guidelines above and avoid any modifications. By following these rules, you’ll help us both maintain a strong, consistent brand presence while highlighting our partnership in the best possible light.
For customers
When you align with Buildertrend’s brand, you’re not just representing us – you’re also enhancing your own credibility. That said, our customers are welcome to showcase our logo and icon in their project materials or testimonials, as long as they follow a few simple rules. Use only the approved logos from our Buildertrend Badge kit, respect the required spacing and keep the design intact – no tweaks allowed! Consistent branding ensures that when people see Buildertrend associated with your business, they recognize quality, professionalism and reliability. This builds trust, which translates into more confidence from your clients.
For content partners
Buildertrend ambassadors and content partners can use our logo and icon in co-branded content, but it’s essential to stick to the approved logos and messaging. Keep things professional by maintaining proper spacing and ensuring the design stays as-is. The Buildertrend Badge is a mark of credibility that showcases your expertise with Buildertrend’s platform. When using the Badge, ensure it’s displayed according to our Guidelines, with no alterations to its design, color or proportions. By following these standards, you’ll maintain the professional look and trustworthiness that come with being a recognized Buildertrend partner.

Use requirement and terms
1. Reservation of rights
The Buildertrend marks are the exclusive property of Buildertrend. By using the marks, you acknowledge that Buildertrend retains all rights, title and interest in the marks except for the limited license granted here. The Buildertrend marks are protected by trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property laws, and their use must comply with these Guidelines. Use of the Buildertrend marks pursuant to this license shall not be construed as limiting the rights of Buildertrend in the marks.
2. Changes
These Guidelines may be modified at any time. Any use of the Buildertrend marks constitutes consent to any modifications to these Guidelines.
3. Violations
Buildertrend, in its sole discretion, may determine if use of the Buildertrend marks violates these Guidelines.
4. Termination
Buildertrend may ask that you stop using the Buildertrend marks at any time. In the event of termination, use of Buildertrend marks must stop within a reasonable period from the date of the request, and in any case, no more than seven (7) days from the date of the request.
5. Warranties
Buildertrend disclaims any warranties that may be express or implied by law regarding the Buildertrend marks (to the extent permitted by law) including warranties against infringement.
