The stunning 6,000-square-foot home – located in Granite Bay, California – has been two years in the making, and they’re just weeks away from handing over the keys.

Getting clients involved

From initial design conception all the way through construction, Tankersley Construction’s clients are involved at every step. From little things like designing a computer room that would work for both children and adults, to big things like creating a cozy music room and library where the artistic family could gather in comfort – Steve and Heather brought them to life.

A huge ask from their client was to build a kitchen where they could overlook the pool while washing dishes. Not an easy feat, the Tankersley team worked side-by-side with the landscapers to ensure proper placement of the pool. They even managed to squeeze in a basketball court, in-ground trampoline and a zipline.

Having the homeowners involved from the start made the project move smoother and made the client experience a 10 out of 10.
