“We as a company gave away $180,000 in down payment assistance to all homeowners across the community,” Booker said. “We didn’t just want to sell them a home – we wanted them to be in the home.”

For many residents, homeownership had previously felt out of reach. Kristi Campbell, a South Park Cottages homeowner, shared how this purchase changed her life. “This home was the largest purchase I’ve ever made – and as a person of color, the fact that it was a Black-owned development made it even more meaningful to me.”
