Buildertrend’s guide to getting the most from IBSx
This year’s biggest construction conference has gone virtual — and is still a can’t miss event.
IBSx – the virtual experience of the year – is just around the corner.
Due to the continued spread of COVID-19, this year’s International Builders’ Show will look a bit different. For 2021, the top residential construction conference will combine the best of the in-person event with new, interactive online experiences.
Think of it this way. It’s the Builders’ Show you know and love available wherever, whenever. Whether you’re on the go between job sites, in the office with your team or lounging at home, IBS is just a click away. Right in the palm of your hands are all the latest products, trends and tips you need to strengthen your business for the year to come.
Even though this year’s conference isn’t in person, the Buildertrend team is here for you – and will be virtually there with you. To help you make the most of this unique experience, here’s what to expect at the construction industry’s premiere event:
Learn about our software and feature updates
Buildertrend, the world’s No. 1 construction project management software, is known for having one of the flashiest booths on the conference room floor. While we’re can’t motor in our oversized branded bus this year, not much else has changed.
IBS exhibits are still happening this year and will be open Tuesday, Feb. 9 through Friday, Feb. 12 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., daily. That means you can virtually visit with some of the industry’s best companies – including Buildertrend.
If you’ve never checked out our construction job software, we’ll be doing quick live demos so you can see our cloud-based platform in action. Or, you can demo now if you don’t want to wait. Plus, we’d love to chat with current customers, too. Check out the latest and greatest feature updates and talk one-on-one with our team to answer any questions. We’re here to help.
Best of all, an Expo Pass is free for all members of the National Association of Home Builders. Get yours here!
Attend countless education sessions
If you want to upgrade your IBSx experience, we recommend the All Access Pass. It’s everything included with the standard Expo Pass plus access to more than 100 live and recorded education sessions. During these, you can learn smart solutions to tackle those niche-specific challenges plaguing projects.
Some of the sessions on our list this year include:
- 5 steps to improving your bottom line by 5% – find ways to increase revenue through effective pricing strategies and key performance indicators
- We rise together: Why diversity matters – explore how diversity can enhance the industry in innovation, reputation and bottom line
- Shift happens: Rethinking your marketing and sales strategies – learn how to adjust messaging and calls-to-action based on conditions
Buildertrend is hosting its own on-demand session to share expert advice with industry pros, too. Attend “Going Virtual: Your guide to project management on-the-go” to successfully run your jobs from anywhere, especially during the pandemic.
Here’s what to expect:
- Learn the nuances of managing your projects virtually and how you can save more time.
- Understand how collaboration doesn’t just have to happen in the office.
- Discover what technology tools can help you manage your projects, no matter where you are.
The session is hosted by our own Paul Wurth, industry influencer, public speaker and host of “The Building Code” podcast. He boasts 14 years of construction technology experience and has built a relationship with thousands of contractors across the globe.
Win giveaways galore
Just because we can’t directly hand swag to you doesn’t mean you should walk away empty handed. Virtually check out our booth for the chance to win prizes like free Buildertrend T-shirts, koozies and more.
But that’s not all! Those that visit the online Buildertrend booth will also have the opportunity to enter and win a $250 gift card to The Home Depot.
The expert advice, introduction to trending industry products and networking all combine to be the best thing about this annual conference. The second best thing has got to be the giveaways – and we deliver.
Don’t stop leveling up once the conference is over
The great thing about a virtual conference is the breakout sessions don’t wrap once you leave the room. You can go back and watch them again to learn something new. From the virtual IBSx platform, you’ll have access to educational recordings and exhibitor products through March 31, 2021.
Even more exciting, Buildertrend is hosting its own virtual conference this April. To dig deeper and discover how technology impacts your business, you don’t want to miss our first-ever Buildertrend Summit.
Just like IBSx, expect speakers, thought leadership and panels – all bringing the construction industry together, online. However, this event will more specifically illustrate how software connects teams, improves efficiency and increases profits.
