Hear why our customers love our construction tech
The biggest change Buildertrend made to my business is the record-keeping with projects, including daily reports, uploading images and the ability for clients to login and see a quick snapshot of what’s happening. I can sleep better at night because I feel more secure with the way we’re tracking the progress of these very complex projects.
So many of the mistakes that are made in this industry are due to human error. To be successful, you have to attach numbers, systems and processes to everything you’re doing. That happens in Buildertrend. I can look at the data during or after a job, measure what happened and then continually get better.
We didn’t have any documented systems before construction project management software. The analogy of kicking our team off of the pier and hoping they can swim, comes to mind. Now, we have a clear expectation of what a supervisor needs to do on a daily basis and how they perform successfully at their job.
I liked how Buildertrend gave us the ability to keep everything centralized like we were used to on commercial jobs, but it was made on a scale to fit our new scope of projects. I knew this was the tool to keep the guys organized. So, if it was Saturday at 2 p.m. and they needed to find something, they could do that. I got excited and said, ‘Let’s dive in!’
