OMAHA, Neb. (June 8, 2020) – Buildertrend, a leading construction project management solution, was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Customer Service Department of the Year category. This is the second consecutive year Buildertrend has been honored by the Annual American Business Awards®, receiving a Bronze Stevie® Award in the same category in 2019.

Since 2006, Buildertrend’s cloud-based platform has empowered more than 1 million homebuilders, remodelers and contractors with a better way to run their business and a better way for their clients to experience building. This award is proof that the SaaS company’s service is better – and constantly improving – too.

“The more Buildertrend grows, the more committed we’ve become to our customers,” said Eric Fischer, vice president of Customer Success. “Buildertrend is built on the belief that even the best can get better. That’s why the Customer Success team finds new ways to better serve those that matter most to us – the contractors worldwide who rely on our software to streamline every aspect of the construction process.”

Advancements by Buildertrend to provide a more seamless and specialized customer experience in the last year include:

  • The largest organizational change in the company’s history, creating Super Teams that integrate Sales and Customer Success departments together for more collaboration
  • Upgraded support for each customer from one coach to an entire team
  • Migration to Intercom as a help desk provider to provide a more innovative and automated experience when fielding questions and support
  • Introduction of support and chat for clients across the globe in Australia and New Zealand
  • Increased frequency of additional training opportunities, including Onsite Consulting and Buildertrend University sessions
  • Measuring the effectiveness of support with Customer Satisfaction Scores (CSAT)
  • Listening to customer feedback to focus upgrades and add additional services

The American Business Awards are the United States’ premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the United States are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

“Despite the toughest business conditions in memory, American organizations continue to demonstrate their commitment to innovation, creativity and bottom-line results,” said Maggie Gallagher, Stevie Awards president. “This year’s Stevie-winning nominations are full of inspiring stories of persistence, ingenuity, resourcefulness and compassion.”

This year’s nomination included more than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry. More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“At Buildertrend, we believe our support should be next level and provide construction professionals a better way to solve real problems, deliver real results and experience real change,” Fischer said. “Side by side, we work with our clients to achieve their business goals. Their success is ours. When they win, we do, too.”
