Buildertrend Franchise Program Guidelines  

Franchisor-Franchisee Relationship and Eligibility. Buildertrend may, at its sole discretion, offer discount pricing to Customers that possess and maintain the following requirements. Specifically, Buildertrend may offer discounted pricing to (a) an entity with a market model for its services to be franchised, in which the entity retains a number of controlling factors related to the franchise and contracts out permission to other entities to use the franchised model to provide services (“Franchisor”); and (b) purchasers of a franchise obligated to follow stated decisions already made by the Franchisor (“Franchisee”). Franchisees typically, but not always, maintain the same look, name, and services as the Franchisor and are obligated to pay the Franchisor based on a franchising contract. Buildertrend retains the sole, independent right to evaluate and determine the validity of a Franchisor-Franchisee relationship for purposes of eligibility in the Franchise Program. Interested Franchisors may reach out to sales@buildertrend.com, with “Attn: Franchise Program” in the email title, to discuss their eligibility in the Franchise Program. Alternatively, if you are an active Buildertrend customer, please reach out to your customer service representative.

Discount Tier. Buildertrend may offer the following discounts to both the Franchisor and Franchisees accepted into the Franchise Program based on the number of active Franchisee accounts signed up under the Franchisor at the time of sign up:

For Franchisors and Franchisees that change levels while on a monthly package, the correct discount will be adjusted following the monthly Subscription Term. For Franchisors and Franchisees that change levels while on an annual package, the discount will be adjusted following the annual Subscription Term. However, for Franchisors and Franchisees that move to a higher level while on an annual package, Buildertrend may, at its sole discretion, offer a rebate to Franchisor to reflect a discount for the Franchisees who already paid the lesser discount (the “Level Rebate”).

Discount Revocation. Buildertrend may, at its sole discretion, revoke the applicable discount at any time, with or without cause; provided, however, Buildertrend will endeavor to maintain discounts for fees paid annually until the end of the Subscription Term outlined in the applicable Order Form.

Franchise Fees. The discount percentage for Franchisors and Franchisees will be reflected in the applicable Order Form. All fees are non-refundable when paid. No Franchisee will receive a free-trial or money-back guarantee when signed up under a Franchisor. If Buildertrend introduces a new product and/or ancillary or optional features or functionalities, the Franchisor and Franchisee thereby agree to the new pricing beginning on the next Subscription Term.

Franchisor-Franchisee Relationship Termination. In the event a Franchisor-Franchisee relationship terminates, the Franchisee will no longer receive discounted access to the Services for use in the Franchisee’s particular business.   

Buildertrend Terms and Conditions. Rights to participate in the Franchise Program, including the use of services or products to residential home builders, home manufacturers, or home remodelers that actively subscribe to the Buildertrend Services and homeowners to aid in residential home construction, residential remodeling, and specialty contracting, through the use of the Buildertrend cloud-based application, Buildertrend mobile app, homeowner portal, and related websites (collectively, “Buildertrend Services”), are subject to the Buildertrend Terms and Conditions set forth at https://buildertrend.com/terms-and-conditions/.
