This year’s been a big one at Buildertrend. Our swift growth has led to major milestones in 2019: 2 million jobs completed with our software, reaching 500 full-time employees, releasing major new features such as two-way sync with QuickBooks and an important partnership with Rocket Loans.

Today, we’re the sole Nebraska-based business to be recognized as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in America on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™.

Reaching milestones

Over the past three years, we’ve achieved revenue growth of more than 240 percent to become the No. 1 software that home builders and remodelers trust to manage their businesses. Nearly 1 million users have chosen Buildertrend since 2006 to transform their operations while reducing delays, eliminating communication errors and increasing customer satisfaction on more than 2 million jobs.

We are so proud of the innovations we’re able to deliver to our customers – helping them become more competitive in an industry that’s been slow to adapt to technology.

“Despite breakthroughs in technology, many contractors continue to rely on outdated, largely paper-based processes that contribute to the industry’s overall low relative productivity,” said Dan Houghton, our co-founder.

“Buildertrend provides a real competitive advantage for its users, streamlining communication on and off the job site while giving builders data-backed insights into their performance. Our continued growth reflects our customers’ success, and we’re honored to be recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing companies in North America.”

Always innovating

Our all-in-one solution serves the needs of residential and light commercial contractors, helping builders save thousands in change orders, standardize scheduling and workflows, and improve customer communication – enabling them to manage more jobs and run leaner and more efficient businesses.

In addition, Buildertrend is constantly introducing new and innovative features to support contractors throughout every stage of construction – from pre-sale to project management. For example, earlier this year it rolled out plug-and-play integration with QuickBooks and Xero for real-time accounting visibility.

Other major enhancements released in 2019 include greater reporting capabilities, new time management features and the ability to quickly pay subcontractors directly – all available within Buildertrend’s cloud-based app.

Pushing boundaries

“As technology innovation trends toward ‘everything as a service,’ it’s no surprise that software companies dominate the winners list yet again this year,” said Mohana Dissanayake, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP.

“These are the companies that push boundaries, help organizations become more efficient and productive, and ultimately enable businesses to drive growth and revenue. We congratulate all the well-deserving winners.”
