The first suggestion is a two-for-one special. Matt Risinger is one of our favorite construction influencers and a Buildertrend customer himself. A builder from Austin, Texas, Risinger’s goal with his channel is to educate fellow contractors on building science and fine craftsmanship.

Digging even further into these topics is his Build Show Network, a channel that’s covered installing windows, optimizing insulation and building a new farmhouse to look 200 years old and more.

The Home Depot Pro Channel

One of the most trusted and well-known brands in America goes the extra mile here to become more than just a retailer. Whether you’re interested in learning about the newest products, tips to save money or want to stay up-to-date on new business tools, The Home Deport Pro Channel features weekly videos made just for contractors and other construction professionals. Basic DIYers, this channel is not for you.

Dettmore101

Want to know if a certain product is worth the investment? Then Dettmore101 is your go-to. The “Make$ or Cost$” series reviews the latest and greatest (or sometimes not-so-greatest) tools of the trade. He’ll give it to you straight – and potentially save your construction business a buck along the way.

AFT Construction

An award-winning homebuilder in Scottsdale, Arizona, AFT Construction is at the top of the game. But they want to help others get there, too. Their videos give viewers a glimpse into the care and detail it takes to be one of the best of the best in custom home construction.

This Old House is home to almost 2 million subscribers, making it one of the biggest and best channels in the industry. Yep, that’s billion with a B. You’ll definitely want to check this one out.

Modern Builds

Here’s another channel with a following that’s more a roar than a whisper. However, it’s no wonder 1.7 million subscribers tune into Modern Builds with the type of content they pump out. Want to see a school bus convert into a tiny house? Learn how to make white cement? Or, watch an attic become a home theater?  Yep, they’ve done it all.

Jesse Lane

As an entrepreneur and general contractor, Jesse Lane shares how-to videos with the goal of helping other entrepreneurs. He gives the basics on how he started his construction business, how to find clients and how to read blueprints. Because he is uploading videos all the time, Lane covers timely topics like how to be a general contractor in 2022.
