1) QuickBooks and Xero two-way sync
This is the next big thing to make accounting easier. Managing finances can be a construction company’s toughest – and highest – priority.
Luckily, using accounting software with Buildertrend makes life easier … especially with a true two-way sync. This means information like job specific expenses can transfer between both programs with ease. Job costing just got better (and more accurate).
2) Rocket Loans partnership
Buildertrend partnered with Rocket Loans to simplify home improvement financing for both homeowners and contractors. Now builders can provide loan options for their clients based on project estimates, and homeowners can apply for financing – all through our platform.
With Rocket Loans in your tool belt, you can make more happen. Offer more. Finance more. Build more.
3) Mobile document scanning
Record keeping probably isn’t your favorite part of the job. The name itself, “record keeping”, sounds archaic. Leave it to us to make it cool … well, cooler. Now you can scan any document into Buildertrend right from your phone for record-keeping that feels completely modern and, dare we say, cool.
4) Clients can access multiple projects from one login
The worst part of the digital age? Remembering passwords. Curse you, passwords!! Well, hopefully your homeowners aren’t feeling this way anymore when it comes to Buildertrend. They just need one handy login to see all their projects. That’s customer management done right.
5) 360° photo sharing and storage
Give clients the big picture now. And by “big picture” we mean one that literally rotates around to show a room from ceiling to floor. There’s progress photos, and there’s 360° progress photos. Your clients are going to love this.
6) Take a break using Time Clock
Nobody likes a micromanager – that includes your team. You certainly don’t want to waste time asking when your employees took a break, and they likely don’t want to be hounded.
That’s why Buildertrend enhanced the Time Clock feature. Users can click to take a break for a more seamless experience and better reporting on timecards. We did the unimaginable: We made taking a break even better.
7) Make more charts more easily
Data. Trends. Progress. Charts are a wonderful thing because they provide builders all this need-to-know info and more. Chances are you think charts are neato, too. So, we created a new feature in Reporting that allows users to access charts and reports from all the data available in Buildertrend. Bring on all the data, all the trends, all the progress!
8) See what To-Do’s are to-done
To-Do’s are one of our most popular tools (rightfully so), and we’re always working to make this feature favorite better. One way we did this recently was to add a section that tells users what To-Do’s are completed. After all, there’s no better feeling than checking something off your list.
9) Financial tool improvements
When running a business, keeping track of every penny just makes “cents”. Bank on all of our updates to financial features to help you with those efforts. We’re talking integrating the cost catalog into Bills, giving you the option to add Purchase Order payments before completing a transaction for better reporting, generating invoices from known expenses and more.
10) Recorded training sessions in the product
We know, figuring out a new software isn’t always simple – even one as easy to use as ours. Training is your answer to this learning curve. We do a lot of it here (an unlimited amount to be exact). Right from within the product, access a recording of any training session to make sure you didn’t miss a thing.
